Founder, Board Member & Secretary
Nancy is a results-driven leader in financial services, with over 30 years of executive level experience in global institutions, driving business growth, strategic change initiatives and product development. She has a diverse background in wealth management, marketing, operations, and regulatory compliance, and a proven track record building key businesses for both credit unions and banks.
For the past several years, Nancy has been dedicated to initiatives that address systemic discrimination in accessing mainstream financial services for historically marginalized communities. In addition to her involvement with First Step Alliance, Nancy serves as Board Member for the Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement and Research, and Ambassador for NJ Reentry Corporation, one of New Jersey's largest reentry organizations. She is also an Advisory Council Member for Farm Sahel, whose mission is to improve gender equity and food security in West Africa, and a Certified Mentor with SCORE, the nation's largest volunteer network of small business mentors. Nancy holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She holds several securities industry licenses through LPL Financial, Member FINRA/SIPC, including the Series 4, 7, 8, 24, 63 and 65.
Board Member & VP
Kahle is an experienced brand marketer and consumer products manager with a history of working across various industries, including travel, lifestyle and health and wellness. She is focused on identifying opportunities to build brand equity, manage product innovation, and develop strong customer relationships.
Kahle is committed to advancing economic empowerment for women. She served on the Advisory Board for the Chester County, Pennsylvania Fund for Women and Girls and has consulted for several other non-profits in the Philadelphia area. Kahle holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
John is a fractional CFO, business consultant and Certified SCORE Mentor, who brings three decades of experience in senior finance roles ranging from startups to global companies. His diverse career includes business development, accounting advisory, financial operations and entrepreneurship. John is known for his creative and collaborative approach to solving complex challenges, and providing sustainable improvements to organizational health, efficiency, and profitability.
John is passionate about financial education and enabling financial services which promote inclusivity and equity. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Richmond and earned an MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.
President & Treasurer
Zac is a digital marketer working primarily with startups and small cap companies. His experience includes SEO, SEM, business strategy, financial modeling and project management. He is especially interested in how new technologies together with human behavior continuously reshape the digital media landscape.
Zac previously worked with the Wharton/SEI Center for Marketing Innovation, a non-profit collaboration whose mission is to bring awareness to global social impact projects. He holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
