Nancy Eiden
Founder, Board Chair, and Secretary
Nancy is a results-driven leader in financial services. She has over 30 years of executive level experience driving business growth, strategic change initiatives, and product development at global banks and credit unions. Her diverse background includes wealth management, marketing, operations, and regulatory compliance. Nancy is currently an independent financial advisor and holds several securities industry licenses with LPL Financial, Member FINRA/SIPC, including the Series 4, 7, 8, 24, 63, and 65.

Nancy is dedicated to advancing financial inclusion and economic empowerment for historically marginalized populations. In addition to First Step Alliance, Nancy serves on the Board of the Center for LGBTQ Economic Advancement and Research, is an Ambassador for NJ Reentry Corporation, one of New Jersey's largest reentry organizations, and an Advisory Council Member with Farm Sahel, a non-profit working to improve gender equity and food security in West Africa. She is also a Certified Mentor with SCORE, the nation's largest volunteer network of small business mentors. Nancy holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in finance and management.
Kahle Mandarino
Board Member and Vice President
Kahle is an Associate Brand Manager with Johnson & Johnson. She is an experienced brand marketer and consumer products manager with a history of working across various industries, including travel, lifestyle and health and wellness. Kahle is focused on identifying opportunities to build brand equity, manage product innovation, and develop strong customer relationships.
Kahle is committed to advancing economic empowerment for women. She served on the Advisory Board for the Chester County, Pennsylvania Fund for Women and Girls and has consulted for several other non-profits in the Philadelphia area. Kahle holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
John Dalton
Board Member
John is a fractional CFO, business consultant and Certified SCORE Mentor, who brings three decades of experience in senior finance roles ranging from startups to global companies. His diverse career includes business development, accounting advisory, financial operations and entrepreneurship. John is known for his creative and collaborative approach to solving complex challenges, and providing sustainable improvements to organizational health, efficiency, and profitability.
John is passionate about financial education and enabling financial services which promote inclusivity and equity. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Richmond and earned an MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Monisha Mapp
Board Member
Monisha is a seasoned financial services professional. She has more than 20 years of experience with global banks, including as a senior branch examiner and business transformation analyst. She is currently a compliance consultant for Wells Fargo Advisors.

Monisha is actively involved in non-profit organizations that support civil rights and social action, economic empowerment and children’s causes. She holds an MSL in Corporate Compliance from Fordham University School of Law and a BS in Applied Math, Statistics & Economics from Stony Brook University. Monisha is a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) and financial coach.
Zachary Rubi
President and Treasurer
Zac is a growth marketer focusing on startups and small cap companies. He is co-founder of Sandbox SEO, an agency helping companies accelerate growth through the intersection of SEO, UX, and software development. His experience includes digital marketing, SEO, SEM, business strategy, financial modeling and project management.
Zac previously worked with the Wharton/SEI Center for Marketing Innovation, a non-profit collaboration whose mission was to bring awareness to global social impact projects. He holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
